New Chairperson for Vision Kerikeri

Updated: Sep 17, 2020

New Chair - Jo Lumkong

It is with regret that the Vision Kerikeri (VKK) committee has accepted David Clendon’s resignation from Chair and Committee-membership. David resigned in order to avoid any potential conflicts of interest, following his election as a councillor to the Far North District Council. On behalf of VKK we offer David our proud congratulations and thank him for his contributions.

At the following meeting, committee member Jo Lumkong was chosen to chair VKK for the remainder of the current year of operation. Fortunately, Jo accepted the position despite of her already numerous active community engagements like Tuhono 200, Our Kerikeri and The Illumination Workshop. Jo’s big picture thinking and creativity as interior and product designer are based on her understanding how environment impacts culture, productivity and human psychology. She is also the mother of her two children (10 and 12 years). For more detailed information about Jo, have a look at her Pepeha (PDF).
