Wairoa Stream - Preparation for June planting

Updated: Sep 17, 2020

About 30 large eucalyptus trees, that were a hazard to further progress on the upstream planting, have been taken out and mulched or removed by Northland Treeworks.

Rod Brown is arranging a site visit with Corey of Northland Excavators, which has a smaller digger and a truck, to arrange for them to complete a tidy-up of the area in preparation for a large public planting (approximately 1,000 plants) on Sunday 19th June.

The pictures of the works were supplied by Bob Bingham.
