Carbon Neutral Kerikeri public launch 22 November, 2018
What each of us do today affects the future that our children and grandchildren will inherit.
The graphic to the right displays the potential impact that today's inaction on mitigating the impact of climate change could have on the generations that are already living today.
The concept of a Carbon Neutral Kerikeri was first floated at the 2017 Vision Kerikeri AGM. In the interim 15 months a team of enthusiasts have been beavering away to try and make it a reality. The fruits of their efforts will be revealed at the public launch of Carbon Neutral Kerikeri; 7pm, 22 November at St John Hall, 357 Kerikeri Road.
Come along and find out how you can personally make a difference. All that we are asking for is that you calculate your carbon footprint. In doing so you will better understand what you can do to start reducing it.
If you cannot make the launch, visit the carbon neutral website and sign up and start your journey on reducing your footprint and helping Kerikeri become carbon neutral.
