Wairoa Stream: Another public planting day, 2 August 2020

After a successful public planting of around 660 plants near the Placemakers boundary on 12 July, we have a further 550 plants to be planted in an area downstream from the Jim and May Brodie bridge. The area was partially planted last winter and was sprayed during early autumn in order to get it ready for planting which is scheduled for next Sunday, 2 August. The details are in the invitation below.

Volunteer

A working bee is held on the first and third Monday of every month from 0830 to 1130.

 

A public planting is usually held in June of each year - details will be posted closer to the date.
