Tackling climate change - what's in the party manifestos?

September 6, 2017

At the recent AGM Rod Brown outlined the aspiration goal of Kerikeri becoming carbon neutral. "By helping to drive 'grassroots' action we may start to see some real initiatives being implemented at local and national Government level".

Well what is being done and what is being proposed by the parties contesting this year's Election?

There has been little 'noise' from politicians and limited media coverage of the subject so far during this election campaign. It was therefore pleasing to spot this NZ Herald article on this subject this morning

If you are concerned about what is being done at a Government level and what each party's stance is, take five minutes to read it.
